BAEE '86: New developments for the British Army and the Export Market

Once again we are now at the sixth event, the first such show - being held in 1976- the British Army Equipment Exhibition (BAEE) opened its doors to prospective customers of the British defence industry from the 22-27 June. The number of exhibitors has reached the record level of 350 companies, of which no less than 56 were participating for the first time: a clear indication if any is - needed of the importance and the vitality of the Exhibition.


The following report spotlights some of the major features of the BAEE '86, with an emphasis on AFVs. Aspects of the BAEE per- taining to training and simulation will be covered in our supplement MS&T, whilst additional information on new developments and equipment unveiled at the Exhibition will be provided in future issues of MILTECH
